(Based on facts from Chapter 6.4 of Reverse Aging)
As was mentioned in an earlier entry, pain is caused when blood circulation gets blocked. When acid accumulates in our bodies over time, it coagulates the blood, blocking blood circulation in the spots where the acid accumulates. Similarly, when we get injured, acid accumulates locally, causing pain around the injured area.
Massages are helpful in increasing blood flow in coagulated areas; however, the acid accumulated deep inside is hard to reach with just a massage. We need something that penetrates deep inside the body. This is where FIR (far infrared) heating can help.
It so happens that the resonant frequency of water is the same as the FIR wave frequency. This being said, the FIR wave can heat water very well, and since over 70% of our body is water, it can heat coagulated areas deep within the body very well. When blood vessels deep inside are heated, they expand to allow easier circulation. More technically put, where the temperature difference in the body is created, the body tries to even the temperature by rushing the blood in and out, and while that happens, the blood carries out the acidic toxins, relieving the pain.
