3 - Understanding Pain

Most pain is developed when blood circulation is stopped or slowed down at a particular point in the body. This explains why massages relieve muscle pain: when muscles are massaged, the blood circulation improves, and we feel better. The solution for the pain is improving the blood circulation. Unfortunately, we are quick to take pain pills.

Pain pills do not eliminate the cause of pain but merely block the brain from feeling pain. As the effects of the medicine ware off, the pain comes back, and the side effects of the medicine accumulate in the body.

Increasing alkalinity and supplying bicarbonates to the blood improves blood circulation without the bad side effects of blood thinners.

See www.alkalife.com to learn how to increase alkalinity or bicarbonates in the blood.

2 - Bicarbonates and Blood

In human artery blood, there are two blood buffers: an alkaline buffer (e.g. sodium bicarbonate, or more commonly known as baking soda) and an acid buffer (e.g. carbonic acid, or more commonly known as club soda).

These two buffers control and maintain the pH values of the blood, so that even if one drinks low-pH acidic cola drinks or high pH alkaline water drinks, the pH level is brought back up (or down) to a healthy level.

As long as there are plenty of supplies of both buffers, the blood can maintain the proper pH values, and we feel fine. The trouble is that as we get older, the alkaline buffer begins to run out, while the acid buffer remains in full supply. This imbalance threatens our health. While our blood still manages to maintain a healthy pH level, acid begins gradually accumulating in our bodies. Acid accumulation leads to diseases such as gout, arthritis and osteoporosis. To remove acid from our bodies, our blood needs a bicarbonate "recharge."

AlkaLife International has several products that supply bicarbonates to the blood.
